Sound Editing

Sound editing shapes the sonic space of a film and directly contributes to its narrative. By assembling ambiences, effects, and sound elements around dialogue, it ensures the continuity of a scene and gives the audience the sense of a coherent sonic world.
Dialogue editing allows for the selection, cleaning, and preparation of takes to ensure speech intelligibility and the precision of performances.
Sound design enriches this whole by developing textures and sonic signatures that support the narrative and contribute to the film’s sound identity.
